Digital Road Tax (eHak)
Since 2021, Malaysia uses a digital road tax system. When you renew online, you receive an eHak — a digital road tax record in JPJ's system. You do not need to display a physical sticker on your windscreen.
JPJ and police check road tax validity via their system using your plate number. Keep your renewal receipt as proof.
